Busi Jacobsohn Magnum Cuvée Extra Brut 2020 English Sparkling Wine Gift Boxed
A very special Cuvée Magnum (1.5 litres) by Busi Jacobsohn of East Sussex. The wine is presented in a very impressive, extra large bottle and packaged in a black gift box. Just perfect for very special gifts or occasions.
An elegant and special vintage. Bright textured and refreshingly vibrant showcasing integrated lees characters with toasted nuts and oats, crunchy apple, some sweet pie crust. This is a wine to savour and enjoy the complexity and discrete accessibility. The wine is classed as 'Extra Brut' which has a very low residual sugar of 2 grams/litre. It has a sophisticated and elegant style which is very dry to your taste.
This 2020 vintage is showing exceptional quality, due to the growing conditions in early spring with dry weather and lots of sunshine. Frost was a challenge in the beginning of May but thereafter followed by perfect flowering conditions and produced beautiful healthy ripe grapes. A vintage to remember.
This fine PDO English Quality Sparkling Wine is made using the classic method, which is how Champagne is produced. All the grapes are from the Busi Jacobsohn single estate vineyard in Eridge, East Sussex just outside Tunbridge Wells.
